Tailor Your Resume to Any Job Description
Kivoo Apply compares your resume with the job, then drafts a tailored version from the experience you already have. You read every word and approve what you use.
One resume rarely fits every job
A job post asks for certain skills and says it in its own words. Your resume tells your story in yours. Tailoring means putting the most relevant parts of your real experience first for one specific job, so the person reading can see the fit quickly.
Doing it by hand for every job takes a lot of time. Kivoo Apply does the first draft, and you do the checking.
How Kivoo Apply tailors your resume
Add your resume. Upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT file up to 10 MB. Check the details Kivoo Apply found, fix anything wrong, and mark your master resume. Scoring and tailoring start from it.
Add the job. Save a role from a live job search, import it from a link, or add it by hand and paste its description.
Check the match. See a score out of 100 and a label. Kivoo Apply also lists skills and keywords from the job that your resume does not mention.
Generate and approve. Kivoo Apply drafts an application package: a tailored summary, resume bullet recommendations, a cover letter, recruiter outreach and interview prep notes. Review it, then approve it. If it is not right, ask for a revision, which rewrites the whole package, or reject it. Download the tailored resume and cover letter as DOCX or PDF.
What changes, and what stays true
Tailoring uses the experience already in your resume to reword, reorder and emphasize relevant information. That is the idea: the same facts, in the order that fits this role.
If the match check shows a skill you are missing, add it to your profile only if you really have it.
AI can still get details wrong or sound awkward about your own background. Read everything before you approve it, and check skills, dates, qualifications and work history.
Check your gaps before you apply
Every job gets a score out of 100 and one label: Apply now, Review first, Skill gap or Skip. The score mainly compares the keywords in the job with your resume, and it also weighs your pay and location preferences and how recent the job is. It is an estimate that helps you decide where to spend your time. It does not promise an interview or a reply.
On paid plans you can also compare a resume with any job description for free. Paste the full job description, and Kivoo Apply shows which keywords are already in your resume and which are missing. It uses no credits.
You stay in control
Generated materials stay drafts until you approve them. You can review a draft, ask for a revision, which rewrites the whole package, or reject or delete it. A revision builds a new package, so it uses one more credit. The text in a package cannot be edited in place. Nothing is sent to an employer without your approval of that specific application, and you can reject an application or revoke an approval.

Questions about tailoring a resume
What does it mean to tailor a resume to a job description?
Tailoring means adjusting your resume so the most relevant parts of your real experience come first for one specific job. You reword, reorder and emphasize what is already true about you, and match the job's key terms where they honestly apply. Kivoo Apply drafts that version for you to review.
How does Kivoo Apply tailor my resume?
You upload a resume and add the job. Kivoo Apply scores the match, then generates an application package with a tailored summary, resume bullet recommendations, a cover letter, recruiter outreach and interview prep notes. You can download the tailored resume and cover letter as DOCX or PDF.
Will the AI make up experience I do not have?
Tailoring is designed to use only the experience already in your resume: it rewords, reorders and emphasizes, and does not add new jobs or skills. AI can still get details wrong, so check skills, dates and work history, then ask for a revision or reject the draft before you approve anything.
Can I see how well my resume matches a job before I apply?
Yes. The score mainly compares the keywords in a job with your resume, and it also weighs your pay and location preferences. It is out of 100 and gets a label: Apply now, Review first, Skill gap or Skip. Kivoo Apply also lists skills and keywords from the job that your resume does not mention. On paid plans, the free job description match shows which keywords are already in your resume and which are missing.
Does Kivoo Apply send my resume to employers automatically?
No. Drafts stay drafts until you approve them, and you can ask for a revision or reject any draft first. Nothing is sent to an employer without your approval of that specific application, and you can revoke an approval later. Kivoo Apply does not apply to jobs on its own.
How much does tailoring a resume cost?
The Free plan gives you 3 application credits one time, with no card needed. One credit covers one package for one role: a tailored resume, a cover letter and outreach. Paid plans start at $19 a month for 50 credits, and Standard is $39 and Pro is $99 a month.
