Your resume is what scoring, tailored resumes and cover letters are built from.
Steps
- Open Resumes.
- In the Upload resumes card, choose a file. It can be a PDF, DOCX or TXT file, up to 10 MB each. You can pick several at once.
- Select Upload. With more than one file the button reads Upload 3 files (or however many you picked).
- Each file shows its progress, then "uploaded". If you uploaded one file, it opens for review.
- On the resume page, read the details we found. The page says "Review and correct the parsed details, then save." Fix anything that looks wrong and save.
- If you have several resumes, select Mark as master on the one you want scoring and tailoring to start from.
How many resumes can I keep?
- Free plan: one uploaded resume. To upload another, delete the first or upgrade.
- Paid plans: up to 10 resumes on the account, uploaded and built together.
Other ways to start
- Build a resume with guided questions. On paid plans you answer questions and download a clean, ATS-ready resume. The Free plan has no resume builder, only a preview and how to upgrade.
- Import from LinkedIn. Copy your About, Experience and Education text from LinkedIn, paste it into the box and select Import profile. No password is needed and nothing is scraped.
Deleting a resume
Open the resume, select Delete, then Delete permanently. A resume that an application is using cannot be deleted, and the message names the application.
Your files are encrypted at rest.
