Nothing is submitted without your approval, and some checks stop an application until it is safe to send.
"Cannot approve yet"
The Approvals page tells you why. The common reasons:
- Dry run required. Select Run dry run. It fills the employer's form without submitting and reports what it found.
- Resume required. The page says "No tailored resume is attached." Open the application and generate or choose a resume under Resume for this application.
- Answers required. Under Needs your decision, answer the questions your answer bank does not cover, then select Save answers. Nothing is submitted until you do.
What the statuses mean
On Recent submission attempts:
- Submitted: the employer's own page showed evidence it was received.
- Sent, not confirmed: it was sent but we could not confirm it. Check with the employer.
- Form rejected it: the employer's form refused it, often because of a missing required field. Open the application, fix it and try again.
- Paused, needs you: it stopped and needs your input.
- Failed: something went wrong. Open the application to read the reason shown.
- Running and Queued mean it is in progress.
Jobs that need an account
A tag says "This source likely requires creating an account to apply." If you want us to do it, select Approve account creation. You can also select Open on the company site and apply yourself.
Ineligible jobs
An "ineligible" tag with a reason appears when a posting asks for something like a clearance or citizenship. Read the posting before you go on.
Some sources are manual
We submit automatically only to sources our configuration allows. For other sources the process stops and leaves that step to you.
When AI is unavailable
If generating or revising fails, you see "We could not ... right now. Nothing was changed. Try again in a few minutes." Nothing is charged for a failed run.
